How to choose
Private or shared applies to the sauna too. In hotels both are usually part of the leisure centre; in cabins they’re yours.
Do it in rounds: sauna, cool off, hot tub, rest. Drink water between rounds and skip alcohol until you’re done.
Check age rules and opening hours for hotel thermal suites; many are 16+ or 18+.
