Privacy and cookies

We don't ask you to sign up and we don't sell anything about you. Here's the little we do collect.

What we collect

With A Hot Tub doesn’t have accounts or forms that store your details. If you email us at hello@withahottub.co.uk, we keep the email only as long as we need it to reply or update a listing.

The cookie notice gives you three options: Allow all, Essential cookies only, or Customise, where you can switch analytics and the booking partner on or off separately. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Necessary storage is always on: your browser remembers your cookie choice and the currency you picked. Nothing about you is sent to us for that.

Analytics cookies

If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google details such as the pages you view, your approximate location (country or city level) and your device type. We don’t use it for advertising.

If you don’t allow analytics, no analytics cookies are set. Google may still receive a basic signal that a page was viewed, without cookies or anything that identifies you.

Booking partner script

If you allow the booking partner, we load a script from Stay22, our affiliate partner. It turns links to booking sites such as Booking.com, Expedia and Vrbo into links that credit a booking to us, and may add links to places to stay alongside our content. Stay22 may set cookies and receive details such as the page you’re on, your approximate location and the links you click. Its own privacy policy applies.

If you don’t allow it, this script doesn’t load.

When you click through to Booking.com, Airbnb or an owner’s own site, that site’s own privacy policy applies. Links to Booking.com pass briefly through Stay22, our affiliate partner, so a booking can be credited to us. Stay22 and Booking.com record that you came from us and may set cookies once you’re on their sites; their own privacy policies apply. Without the Stay22 script, our pages don’t store anything in your browser when you click.
