Gin and Toffee Carriage is on a farm at Cutlers Green, just outside Thaxted. It has one bedroom, a living room, a full kitchen and a barbecue.

The wood-fired hot tub is private and looks out over the farm’s sheep. It isn’t heated before you arrive, so allow time to fire it up. Thaxted Guildhall is about a mile away, and Audley End House and Stansted Airport are both about seven. Dogs are welcome, and guests must be 21 or over.
