How to choose

A leisure-club tub is part of the deal, not the whole deal. It comes with a pool, often a sauna and steam room, and usually costs nothing extra if you’re staying. It won’t be private, and it may be busy on Saturday afternoons.

Read the spa rules first. Many UK hotel spas have adults-only hours, close in the early evening, or charge for a thermal suite even when the pool is free. If you want a late soak, check the closing time.
